As an all-round creative emersed in the music and cabaret scenes and surrounded by fellow creatives, sometimes I get offered extraordinary design jobs! The Serpent’s shadow project for Eliza Delite was a joy. Eliza approached me to design a grand entrance doorway with huge snakes on either side. I sketched up several options until we chose a design that would have the visual impact desired and would also work decorated with gold leaf.

The prop was build by Sean Mooney. I worked alongside Eliza with Scenic Artist Emily-Rose Minshaw to bring the design to life!
It took 32 hours of building, painting and foiling across 4 days to complete the front of the set peice.
